Finca Los Nogales - Café Excelso Pink Bourbon 350g

This Pink Bourbon comes from Finca Los Nogales, owned by third‑generation farmer Oscar Hernández in Huila, Colombia, at an altitude of around 1,750 m. The coffee is processed using extended fermentation, a method that enhances its natural complexity while keeping it organic and chemical‑free.

ViCAFE worked closely with Oscar and his sister Angie (a chemist) to develop a fully compost‑based, agrochemical‑free system. Their collaboration took several years, with the first beans from this project reaching the roastery after around four years of careful experimentation.

In the cup, this coffee offers a light to medium body with elegant acidity and vibrant, delicate flavors of honey, chamomile, lime, and orange.

The slightly lighter roast profile allows the full complexity of the beans to shine — whether brewed as a juicy espresso or a balanced filter coffee.
